Sheba - Black & Tan Mix Breed
Found after Hurricane Katrina in a cardboard box under a field of debris.  Rescued in Mississippi.

Tricks -
Growling and showing my teeth while being petted.

Favorite Toy -
Anything that squeaks and has some fake fur on it

Favorite Treat -
Cheese, Cheese and more Cheese

Favorite Activities -

1. Tearing the squeaker out of my toys and then playing tug of war with the remnants
2. Stealing mom's socks out of the clothes hamper and putting them under her bed
3. Jumping over the arm of tall chairs and landing in my mom's lap

Mom says:
Sheba is the comic of the family.  Friendly, cuddly, curious, playful and mischievous, she keeps us all laughing.

Bailey - Chocolate Doberman and Hound Mix
Adopted from a local rescue group in Huntsville, Alabama

Her mother and litter were found living in a sewer pipe.  A policeman attempted to rescue the group and the mother charged him attempting to defend her pups.  He shot the mother but the bullet grazed her head and she lived.  She recovered and was later adopted too.

Tricks -
Body slamming Sheba and pinning her to the floor

Sheba - she's so much fun to tackle

Favorite Treat -
Peanut Butter

Favorite Activities -

1. Walks with my mom and watching everything she does
2. Fence patrol - I can see those people walking on the other side of my fence
3. Riding in the car

Mom says:
Bailey is the protector of the family.  Shy with strangers but a lover to family and friends.  Loves to cuddle, kiss and snuggle in bed.

Opening the Kitchen Pantry Door with my nose and paw and helping myself to the feed bag (when mom is not around)

Favorite Toy -
Books - any kind of book I can pull off of the bookshelf so I can tear out the pages and nibble on the corners - My mom doesn't like this very much

Favorite Treat -
It is a tie:  Peanut Butter or Cheese

Favorite Activities -

1. Sleeping, Sleeping, Sleeping
2. Getting the scent of deer or squirrels and running through the woods while howling
3. Eating, eating, eating and then back to sleeping, sleeping, sleeping

Mom says:
Lucy is the sweetheart of the family who loves everyone.  She is great with humans of all shapes and sizes as well as with other dogs.

Likes a good cat chase but runs away as soon as the cat starts to swat.  A cuddly and mischievous companion who loves to have her tummy rubbed.  No doubt, she marches to her own beat.
